to say that there is no other group of people i would rather spend my last wedding of the season with is an understatement…having photographed the bride’s sister, tara, three years ago for her wedding as well as bridesmaid, michelle’s wedding this past may, it is like spending the day with your family…and, seeing these couples and their families is always such a treat for us…meghan looked amazing in her christos gown and boxwood gardens did a lovely job with the holiday themed florals…after their ceremony at church of the nativity in fair haven, we quickly headed over to riverside gardens in red bank and braved the cold and beat the sinking light to get some great photos of this couple before heading over to eagle oaks country club in farmingdale…it was great working with jen anderson on video and meghan’s band, the dream team out of new york, were incredible! thank you so much to the ullmans, cusicks, langleys, takacs, zusacks and now the kopps for reminding us why we do what we do and how lucky we are to be doing this…

caitlin & scott had a great day for their wedding which started in matawan with a stop in belmar at the house where they met and ending up at the always beautiful and hospitable (thank you don!) clark’s landing…petal beach created beautiful florals for the bridal party (loved the feathers!) and it was great working with THE mike simons himself on video:)…

Jeri – beautiful pictures – can’t wait to see the rest!!
bob and i had a great day with maureen and marc first at the sheraton hotel in eatontown followed by their ceremony at st. rose in belmar…on the way to the channel club, mark wanted to stop in asbury park for some photos unaware as we all were that the annual zombie fest was under way…i’m still not sure why zombie fest wasn’t halloween weekend but in case, my couple were drawing more attention than any of the zombies there and it seemed like there were thousands this year! in any case, we did manage to find some quiet spots on the beach, then off to the channel club where daddy pop entertained everyone…it was great working with emil from mike simons video and seeing andrea and chris decker, whose wedding i photographed several years back…flowerful events provided the florals and even though there was mostly cloud coverage instead of the usual phenomenal sunsets that channel club the night could not have been more perfect…thank you fred for everything as usual…

after the rain ashlee and mike had on their day i was thrilled that sun was shining in full force the next day for kristen and andrew…kristen’s YSA Makino dress was GORGEOUS and i could have photographed it for days…The flowers provided by the always wonderful petal beach were the perfect compliment to kristen’s dress and the bridesmaids eggplant colored dresses…after a lovely ceremony at united methodist church in red bank, we headed down to riverside gardens in red bank for some pictures before the reception at eagle oaks country club in farmingdale…it was so great to see ed back and in form…we missed you ed…and the FRESH band were incredible and always such a treat when i have weddings with them…

ashlee got the beach ceremony at 7 presidents park in long branch she wanted although just as the rabbi said i do, the heavens opened up and let loose crazy rain that you could not even see past! thank you to the random car that pulled up and offered me temporary shelter after seeing me curled up in the sea dunes…and, even though i looked like i took three showers by the time we arrived at branches for their reception, the rain stopped and we were able to get a few more photographs outside before going in for their reception…thank you stasia for all of your assistantce that day and for the much needed hot coffee…narcissus did a beautiful job with flowers and i loved the handmade letterpress invitations that ashlee made herself…

Two words “asbsolutely stunning”. I pray that your life together turns out as beautiful as your wedding day
there were so many reasons to be happy spending the day with rebecca and michael…they were so nice as were their families and bridal party, all the wonderful details that rebecca incorporated into their day and jen from nauvoo grill who was fantastic to work with…i loved rebecca’s badgley mishka shoes, the amazing cake from pink cake box that incorporated rebecca and michael’s stationery design, the incredible and i am not kidding, candy/caramel apples from the rocky mountain chocolate company…literally heaven on a stick…the flower cart of old bridge did a lovely job with all of the colorful flowers and sound connection kept everything and everybody moving…thank you so much elliott negron for the second assist of the weekend…it was great working with you again!

there are not enough words to describe how great these two people are and how much fun we had with them…they were so relaxed behind and in front of the camera even though anthony had expressed his discomfort to his bride about being photographed beforehand and especially since asbury park was jumping because of the music festival that was happening that day! the weather was misty but we were able to get out on the boards and grab some great shots before their ceremony at the berkeley oceanfront hotel…petal beach did their usual amazing job with the florals and i absolutely loved the skeleton leaves that bonnie put in the bride’s bouquet…i had never seen them before…rebecca’s jimmy choo shoes added just the right amount of bling to her sophisticated and elegant gown by lazaro…rebecca’s hair was done beautifully by kelly marchetti of thompson’s salon in shrewsbury and a special thank you to mary koury for all of her assistance as the day of coordinator…cravings of allenhurst provided the simple but pretty cake and the A band kept everyone on the floor until the end…a very special thank you to my friend and colleague, elliott negron, who came in from the city to assist me on my weddings this weekend…

even though the weather did not cooperate much for kara & michael their wedding couldn’t have been more perfect…the flowers provided by van brunt were beautiful and i loved kara’s badgley mishka shoes… despite the rain, we still decided to do some photos on the boardwalk in asbury…a big thank you to the owner of stella marina who graciously ran out in the rain and handed kara and mike two congratulatory glasses of champagne when he saw them braving the weather through his restaurant window…mike, an avid mets fan, was “kind of” a good sport when i pulled out my yankees umbrella although it made for some great ribbing at my expense and led to the umbrella going missing for awhile…we headed over to branches where dj jimmy mac kept the crowd on the floor till the end…

Hi! The pics are GREAT! I was a bridesmaid in this wedding! We had a blast!!! I just wanted to send you a PS. It was the owner of Stella Marina that came out to congratulate them, not the owner of watermark. Just wanted to give the credit to the right guy!

by wedding number three of an exceptionally busy weekend i would typically be fried to a crisp but between all the gorgeous details that erin had including the colorful florals by wallflowers, the light, airy atmosphere that makes photographing at matisse in belmar so wonderful, erin and mike and their beautiful boy, nicholas, not to mention the INCREDIBLE clouds in the sky for their oceanfront wedding, i was completely energized! and if that were not enough to keep the energy high, nick from imagine entertainment always does the trick…take a look…

it didn’t look like the weather was going to cooperate for heather and chris but it did not only giving them a great day but a beautiful sunset as well! i was especially honored to be photographing this wedding as heather is the niece of a colleague and friend, bonnie from petal beach and both of bonnie’s daughters were in the bridal party…the family made sara and i feel like family and we loved sharing in their joy and being able to document their special day for them…as usual the flowers provided of course by petal beach were gorgeous and nicole from anna soiree did a lovely job with the programs and table cards…after church in ocean grove we made a quick stop at the beach before heading off to eagle ridge country club where we were thoroughly entertained by kris abramson from elite entertainment…here’s a little preview!

this was a second wedding for this family and me as i photographed the groom’s sister, bethany’s wedding several years ago, so it was great to see everyone again…we had an early start to our day as they decided to see one another prior to their church ceremony at st. james in red bank…melissa had the AMAZING hair & makeup wizards, denise vacchiano and jeanine mangan, and it is always fantasic starting our day seeing their faces…the flowers from petal beach were sooo pretty…it was great being back at the mill in spring lake with the fantastic mission dance…special mention to best man, ryan from thomas ryan ward designs, who designed all the invitations, programs and paper details…well done!

One of the biggest moments in my lifefime Is to live long enough to witness the marriage of some of my
grandchildren. Zach is the third grandchild to be married,, and I am very fortunate to have attended this
beautifull affair. My other desire would have been for my loving and beautifull wife Norma to havelived
to bea part of this event. There are still a number of other grandchildren to go down this path, and maybe
God will give me another few years to see them take this step. As Zack and my other family members
know, family to me is the most importat jpart of a wonderfull andloving life. Meg, and Zack, I wish you
Love, Happiness, and Lots of Good Health in the coming years. I am looking forward to Warching you raise
You family. God Bless You All.
All my Love,

Jeri and Sara,
Your pictures are breathtaking. Everyone of my friends who has viewed your blog had the same response – “Amazing!!!” One of my friends even said that there are some of the images that she would like to buy even if she didn’t know the people because they are so spectacular that they take your breath away. Your pictures have absolutely captured the day, the spirit, and the love and happiness which permeated the whole affair. These are more than pictures—they are works of art and I cannot thank you enough for your efforts. Obviously, the best wedding decision Meg and Zach made was to hire you to chronicle this event. We cannot thank you enough and we can’t wait to see the rest of your masterpieces! Thank you again. Peggy Bartlett

There are an infinite number of adjectives to describe how magnificent these pictures are. Thank you so very much for exceeding any expectations one could have. Much of what I would say, Peggy has said above. I knew my son had an eye for beauty and the insight to choose only the best. Your work encompasses all–the bride and the art of your photography. My friend just saw the pictures and her email to me said quite simply and oh so true; “OMG, this photographer is fabulous. I feel like I attended a celebrity wedding!” By the way, Zach was number one of four–3 more to go—hopefully you travel to RI, or it seems we may have to bring the next wedding to NJ!! Jeri and Sara, thank you again for creating such magical memories we will all treasure forever. Jody Robinson

there has been occasion over the years where i work with a group of families and when i see them it feels more like spending the day with family rather than work…this has been my experience with the langley family since i photographed their daughter michele’s wedding in may…michele and carol’s parents, marybeth and greg, are very special people and it has been a joy and honor getting to know their wonderful family and spending time with their friends many of whom we have been privileged to work with as well for their happy occasions–michele & jeremy takacs, maria & mark brewer whose wedding i photographed in december and maria’s parents, the ronans, the kingsberys, whose daughter katie was just married a couple of weeks ago–i loved working with and seeing each and every one of you! carol and sam had an absolutely perfect day for their wedding ceremony at st. james church in red bank and their poolside reception at the rumson country club…it was great getting to work with emil from mike simons video again, brian kirk and the jirks always keeps everyone on the floor, nicole from mustillos who helped carol get dressed and the beautiful flowers from boxwood gardens…they had a gorgeous night complete with a full moon! here’s a peak…

so much i loved about this couple and this wedding…the bungalow where katie got dressed is always a treat to photograph, avenue where their rooftop ceremony and reception were held, the maid of honor jenna and her husband antonio whose wedding i photographed several years back and jenna’s family who attended this wedding along with the langley’s (who i have the treat of seeing again this year when i photograph their second daughter carol’s wedding next week), peter james floral designer who i finally got to meet and work with…even though we had just about five minutes to do some pictures with these two before the sky opened up and offered torrential downpour it didn’t matter because five minutes was all we needed with them as it took no time at all to capture the way they feel about each other…they both have wonderful families and we so enjoyed spending time with all of them…

the weather didn’t cooperate enough for sydney and james planned beachfront ceremony at ocean place resort and spa but that didn’t stop us from grabbing a few photographs outside beforehand…i loved all of sydney’s details, from her bagdley mishka shoes, the adorable peach and white searsucker bridesmaids dresses from lulakate, sydney’s stunning gown by vineyard, the pretty florals by rose petals and lace and my favorite cake of the season so far…loved this daisy cake…as always, the incredibly talented jeanine mangan from jmmakeup designs and mandy liento of la sorella bridal had sydney looking flawless…this couple rolled with the punches when the ceremony had to restart and sydney got to walk down the aisle twice, the second time to thunderous applause and laughter…pat roddy band kept everyone on the dance floor until the very end…have a great honeymoon in tahiti sydney and james…it was so much fun spending the day with you!

i have been looking forward to working with this family since they gave me the honor of choosing me to capture their day…they are so incredibly gracious and warm and familiar as there were many families there who i have worked with in the past and will be working with again soon! i also cannot believe that i get to work with them again in august when i get to photograph michele’s sister, carol, on her wedding day! i can’t wait! the luck of the irish was with them and the rain held out so we were able to get plenty of outside pictures on the grounds of the brides home, st. james church and riverside gardens in red bank and a fantastic reception at the rumson country club…thank you michele & jeremy and i know you are having an amazing time in hawaii!

melissa & pat had a warm, sunny spring day for their wedding at holy trinity church in long branch and branches…both pat and melissa’s dad belong to the fire department so the day wouldn’t have been complete without a firetruck…the GORGEOUS flowers were by my girls at the amazing petal beach and makeup by yvonne moss made the bride look flawless…so much fun always working with jen anderson from sands of time on video and big joe henry, dj from 101.5 introduced the bridal party…special guest star, singer robert johns,(“the lion sleeps tonight”, “sad eyes”) entertained the packed dancefloor…

…sara and i headed to jersey city for our first wedding of the season…it was FREEZING and unbelievably windy but we had such a great time with this couple and with their great vendors that we barely (just barely) noticed exactly how unbearably frigid it actually was…maureen looked absolutely gorgeous in her lace gown which was really so perfect for her and the flowers designed by tiger lilys of teaneck were lovely next to the striking green bridesmaids gowns…it was great working for the first time with the videographers from gt modern creations out of brooklyn and it was a blast working with my favorite dj, nick from imagine entertainment and his trusty sidekick, russell at the wonderful mayfair farms in west orange…what a great way to kick off the season!

Jeri-our jaws are on the floor. Your photographs are stunning, and so perfectly capture all the love and joy we felt that day. You and Sara were amazing to work with, truly professional and so much fun to be around. Your shots show that not even the wind and the cold could stop us from smiling that day.
