bob and i spent the perfect fall day last saturday with kris & john in millstone and then at the rustic, cranbury inn…photos were taken at the groom’s parents farm in millstone and village park in cranbury…we had a ball working with mike simons on video and the sensational band, brian kirk and the jerks…

i absolutely loved spending time with these two fantastic people…they were so happy and wonderful and their bridal party and friends could not have been nicer…sara and i had the best day with them…alex works for marvel comics (check out the superman cufflinks and cake and the hulk cake topper…it was a pleasure working with chris at twin brook country club in watchung (who entertained the guests with a song)…

last weekend began with alyssa & jimmy and their wedding at the beautiful addison park…loved seeing ed (the manager at addison) whose daughter’s wedding i photographed 10 years ago (can’t believe that much time has passed!) and also bob christie who i went to grammar school with (let’s just say a VERY long time ago)…nice working with freddy from mike simons video for the first time…

october began with jen and rob’s wedding and they could not have been a nicer couple…jen completely remembered what the day was about especially when the musicians never showed up at the church for her ceremony…even though it started almost an hour past when it was due to start and the music was piped into the church through an ipod, she took it in stride and was so happy just to be marrying her guy…larry was shooting with me again (sara was just leaving riverside gardens with her friends’ wedding as we were arriving) and kept the bridal party laughing…we stopped at the walt street pub in red bank where the couple met and the bridal party had a few drinks before heading down to crystal point yacht club for reception…it was so much fun seeing and spending time with jesse and denis kauffman, whose wedding i photographed several years ago, they are still a riot, and chris garrow from unforgettable djs…

i met allison and patrick down in asbury park one night a couple of weeks ago to do some pre-wedding photographs…patrick confided that he’s not the most comfortable in front of the camera but you would never know that by looking at these…of course about five seconds after he told me this, he had about 10 firefighters heckling them from the rooftop bar off the paramount…unbelievable!…i’m so looking forward to working with them again next july…

the last wedding of the month of september was stacy & victor’s at the beautiful newark club…photographs were taken in between the raindrops at westfield park and it was two days in a row working with jennifer anderson on video…loved seeing former clients barbara and duane whose wedding i photographed several years ago also at the newark club…

meet my gorgeous new nephew, gabriel john, born september 5th to my baby sister, stacey and her husband, joe…isn’t he a beauty?

this couple will definitely go down as two of my most memorable people and favorites as well…since the first meeting with them, they both made me laugh SO much…vinny kept putting the whammy on me making “rain” comments before his wedding day as we were due for a storm, but it wasn’t to be…they had a really HOT day but it didn’t rain at all…sara was shooting a friend’s wedding so i had the pleasure of shooting with larry evans, who kept everyone laughing all day…evelyn’s wedding planner was nicole from anna soiree who i haven’t seen in awhile but is expecting her third child (i told her everytime i’ve seen her, she’s pregnant!) and she kept everything flowing smoothly…the flowers were beautiful as is always the case when they come from my favorite girls, bonnie and chris, from petal beach…this was also the first of two i was shooting with videographer, jennifer anderson, this weekend and we always have a great time together…evelyn had a special cake made for vinny in the shape of a tbone steak to honor his profession of a meat company owner and vinny surprised everyone by inviting everyone outside the beautiful, mcloone’s pier house, for a fireworks display courtesy of garden state fireworks…

Evelyn you looked so beautiful, I was so proud that you asked me to walk you down the aisle. Vinny thanks so much for your wonderful thoughts of thanks for what I did. You two are going to make an amazing couple. Enjoy Italy, and cant wait to see all the pictures and hopefully will be able to purchase some of the dvd’s. Especially the one that started ” FROM THE BEGINNING”
