amanda

i photographed amanda’s wedding to her husband, chris, two years ago and now they are very shortly expecting their first child…as you will see by the images below, amanda, is one of those amazingly beautiful women that looks incredible normally but even more so pregnant…it was right before hurricane earl was to hit the beaches and the waves were pretty intense, but the water was warm and amanda jumped right in…it was a really lovely way to spend a weekday morning and i’m so excited to meet the newest addition…

friday night was one of those amazing nights where i got to do double duty…spend time with my longtime clients and dear friends, steve and michelle and their gorgeous kids,  and my love, steve’s brother, bob and shoot some images for the portrait session i owe them…AND best of all, i got to do it on the Kathleen D, a beautiful katamaran which does sunset sails out of the highlands…the water was like glass and it was literally a perfect way to work and play after a long week…i highly recommend it and thank  you captain tracy dell for making it such a wonderful time for all of us…

isn’t she just magnificent?

…so sara and i headed way south to historic smithville, where chickens and geese and such roam freely amongst the tourists…it’s been a few years since i’ve worked here, but the smithville inn is as lovely as ever and the beautiful carousel is always so great in pictures…it was a little hotter than i’d like, but this couple went with the flow…nick from imagine djs kept everyone on the floor till the end…

thank you! it was a great day!

saturday was the most GORGEOUS day we’ve had in quite some time and i enjoyed every moment of being outside and spending the day with kristen, rob and their fantastic family and friends…the flowers designed by nancy from in the garden were lovely and the seaside details at the reception were just perfect for a beach wedding at waters edge in sea bright…as always, sara and i had a ball with jennifer anderson on video and band of gold rocked the house till the end…it was great to see lindsey and her husband rob, whose wedding i photographed two years ago (i can’t believe it’s been that long already!) …such a great day!

i adored kristen's shoes

i love the feel of these...

that amazing light!

i just love the look on her face...xxoo
